We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. Critiques
As a photograph i think this is a nice photograph, the sky is dark and moody much like the almost highland romance stance the subject is in. Whilst she is very dark, and maybe a lighter shading would have brought out the peice a bit better, when you squint up close and see the clothes shes in, i'd say it would have taken from the peice. the stark outline of the girl on the moody sky is very striking....
but
i think that (and its just my opinion) the flag in the background is on a building you tried to not catch in the frame , and upon noticing the flag in the picture, you've maybe tried to create a theme of it (we've all done it, its not a bad thing) ..it just seems a little mashed up as one of the many "for our troops" subjects... ie because of her clothes etc.
I do think the sky behind her is lovely, and the contrast between girl and element is beautiful.
The Towering shadow of the girl here is a bit too dark BUT over all it still looks great.
The cloud that is swirled in the middle of the pic on the left side where the girl's arm is Looks the a shape of a fox's head. Hmm Could it be... Naruto's the Kuubi? Or FireFox? Keep up the awesome work!
